Your contributions are used to help your sponsor dog and all the dogs in our care. The money is used to cover the costs of running the shelter such as staff to clean the kennels. The money also goes towards food for the dogs, training and medical care – all with the ultimate goal of giving each dog a lovely home and if possible finally getting each dog adopted.
Citydogs4Streetdogs Sponsor a Dog is a co-sponsorship scheme with a number of people sponsoring each dog for different needs of the dog. Part of your money will also go towards helping all the dogs in our care, including the dog you have chosen to sponsor. If you wish to sponsor exclusively, please choose the ‘Full Sponsorship’ also available on each dog’s detail page under ‘Sponsor a Dog’.
You will receive a yearly update at Christmas from your sponsor dog. If you have given your birthday please see below.
Yes, your sponsor dog will send you a birthday card, when you have given your birthday in the application from.
Yes. You can make your contribution by online bank transfer or via payment slip.

We try to contact sponsors we have not heard from.
You do not have to give us with your telephone number but by doing so it will allow us to contact you quickly should we have a query about your sponsorship.
If you want to receive a birthday card from your sponsor dog we need that information. This information is also useful to select what news from Citydogs4Streetdogs are relevant for you (e.g. we try to exclude children from our appeal mailings).
